Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful location as well as the kindness and hospitality of the staff. We went for the wine tasting tour where we beforehand, were kindly received and welcomed with bubbles and had a nice chat with the staff. The tour was very interesting and intimate. The man whom showed us around spoke English very well which made everything he explained to us, perfectly understandable. We ended our night with a gourmet dinner were the beautiful wines were served together with amazingly delicious dishes. The scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere screams ‘Tuscany countryside’.

We pulled off the road for a wine tasting on our way to another winery and were treated very well by the staff. Excellent wine and a beautiful location. Highly recommend you stop here.

Amazing spot! Staff is wonderful. The onsite restaurant offered some of the best food of our whole trip. Room furnishings are a little dated.

Simone was so well informed about the region and the wines. Great history lesson while feeling like you are there. The wedding venue is beautiful too.

We've loved their wines for decades, so when we decided to vacation in Tuscany we immediately searched them out. Much to our pleasant surprise, they converted part of the castle into a boutique hotel! Reservations were immediately made! The place and location are perfect. Staff is super gracious and accommodating. Rooms are well appointed and the on property restaurant is Innovative and high end. It was a pleasure having this location as our base and we would love to come back again!

Charming stay during spring time. Cordial staff, comfy rooms, and the wine tasting tours made for a great few days. Unique experience. Many great restaurants within short driving distance.

The Sommelier, Samit gave us an excellent tour of the winery that was very interesting. Highly recommend doing this followed by a meal at Il Cavalier.
